Link your Helium activities to your Twitter account
Keep followers up to date when you publish an article, become friends with a fellow Helium writer, or sell an article in Marketplace.
1. Select the "My Helium" link from the top navigation bar.
2. Select the "Activities" link from the left-hand navigation bar.
3. Sign into your Twitter account by selecting the "Sign in with Twitter" link. Click "Allow" to allow Helium Zones access.
4. You can select which activities you want to show up on your Twitter account by selecting the "Preferences" link. The default setting will link all your Helium activities to your Twitter account.
Facebook "Like" button on Helium articles
By utilizing the wildly popular social networking site, Facebook, Helium has introduced yet another way for readers and writers to share enjoyable Helium articles with ease. By selecting the "Like" button on any articles it will automatically pop up (if you're logged in to Facebook) on your Facebook wall as a "Like." This is a simple way to instantly share articles of interest with friends. To "Like" an article, someone does not have to be a member of Helium, but does have to be a member of Facebook. If you're not logged in, a window will open and prompt you to log in. When posted to your wall, an article will look like the following:
The article on Helium will then record your "Like" and log it to the article. The image below shows you how the article will transform in order to record your "Like" information.As you can see above, this article was like 190 times. Basically, this article shows up on 190 people's Facebook pages around the world. How's that for viral traffic?
Lastly, if an article has been "Liked" by accident or you would like to remove it, then simply selecting the "Like" button again will remove it from your Facebook profile as well as the article's page.
